Kids in the Kitchen – Recipe Projects

Making cookies with your kids is a special time. It creates sweet memories, generates delightful anticipation, and encourages even the youngest chefs to be a part of the magic.   After they have grown, all it takes is the aroma of chocolate chip cookies to recall the happy times spent with the family. Hey, this is what memories are made of!

Everyone knows that eating a cookie is one of the best experiences in life. Chewy, melty, warm cookies are something you can share with the whole family because the magic is universal. And as a busy parent, you’ve found that Otis Spunkmeyer frozen cookie dough is the insiders’ secret to creating ooey gooey cookies that look like they were scratch baked – in practically no time at all!

“We turn every day into a happy one!”

Here are few ideas for turning our frozen cookie dough into some kitchen activities the kids will love!

What Can You do with Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough?

  1. Adults should preheat the oven to 325 degrees
  2. Kids can help bake a batch of cookies using Otis Spunkmeyer frozen cookie dough by placing the dough nuggets on the baking sheet
  3. Once the cookies cool, place 4 or 5 in a plastic bag or colorful cellophane wrap.  Tie with a bright ribbon and hand out as party favors, or get the kids involved decorating the bags with stickers – that is, if they can resist those cookies!
