For Otis, there’s more to supporting Our Troops than just providing fresh-baked cookies, muffins and other bakery products wherever they are serving our country. It’s really about saying “We Care and we’re there for you.” That’s why we strive to get involved in activities on a variety of fronts to show our appreciation, provide a helping hand and, of course, a warm cookie whenever possible.
Otis has been very fortunate to work with a number of fine organizations that support our troops whether they’re currently serving overseas, wounded warriors on the road to recovery or in the veteran community. Otis Spunkmeyer is proud to spread the magic of cookies and bring a little slice of America to these deserved men and women. We’re in this together!
Otis Spunkmeyer Military Programs
- USO Phone Home Program – Otis Spunkmeyer partnered with the USO to assist in the purchase of thousands of prepaid international calling cards to help service members stay connected with family and friends while serving in combat overseas
- Ride to Recovery – is a program produced by the Fitness Challenge Foundation, (501C3) in partnership with the Military and VA Volunteer Service Office, to benefit Mental and Physical Rehabilitation Programs that feature cycling as the core activity. Otis is so pleased to be able to support wounded warriors and veterans by supplying product donations during the R2R’s multi-day bicycling events
- Sponsorship of various events for injured veterans such as the In Honor of Our Troops Golf Classic to raise awareness of the growing needs of soldiers injured in the line of duty
